Happy Happy Thanksgiving! 

A super special thanks to all who stopped by the fattycakes booth at I.C.E. last weekend!  It was a great 2 days!  I loved meeting lots of new people and seeing so many familiar faces!  It is so great that Atlanta has such an amazing event focused on indie crafts, I am always proud to be a vendor there!  Thanks to Shannon and Christy for all the amazing work they do to organize and promote this event! 

Don’t forget about the I.C.E. Pop-Up Shop!  Opens tomorrow on Black Friday at the Woodruff Arts Center!  AND…Saturday is Small Business Saturday, so please forgo the big box stores and visit your local independent businesses.  Show them your love and support so they will stay in business!

Looks like my house has exploded with felt critters as I make a final push to get more work done for both the upcoming I.C.E. events!  There is felt spread everywhere, I have 8 pairs of scissors but can’t seem to find any of them when I need them, robot parts are strewn about, thread bits stuck to my clothes when I go out, but that’s okay…it’s all in the name of fun and fattycakes!  I am finishing up my cacti garden today, they still need their tiny flower blooms.  There is an entire tub of robots just waiting to find their way to new homes soon!

I.C.E. Pop-Up Shop

Have you heard about the awesome Pop-Up Shop I.C.E. is setting up in the Woodruff Arts Center for the Holidays?  Well, fattycakes will be there along with some very talented artists!  Woodruff Arts should make a great home for the holidays!  The Pop-Up Shop will be open from November 26th (infamous Black Friday) until December 30th.  The perfect place to go see some art and buy handmade for the holidays!

I.C.E. Holiday Show

fattycakes is busy prepping for the upcoming Indie Craft Experience Holiday Shopping Spectacular!  We are slowly but surely building our own robot army for the show!  This year we will have over twice the amount of robots as past years!  Also on the plate are….tiny cacti, toast and poop magnets, faux bois logs and stumps, an assortment of ornaments, octopi, and of course that robot army!  We have also been working super hard here at fattycakes headquarters to come up with a great new marketing package for fattycakes!  Super-special thanks to our non-robot friend Brian at Stripe Creative for helping us out (and for being an ever-ready junkin’ and cupcake eatin’ companion)!

We are super excited about seeing friends come out on Nov. 20+21, 11-6 both days at Ambient+ Photo Studio on the Westside.
